This game was made in one month for the Metroidvania Month 14 Game Jam with the restriction that the game had to fall under the Metroidvania genre. The jam also had an optional theme of "Monochromatic" which I also chose to follow.
This was a solo effort and all graphics and code were made during the game jam's time period. I acquired the music from https://freemusicarchive.org, which is where I found the main music: Acid Planet by Alien Operator and the boss music: Tempered Glass by Ritzke. All sound effects were from the Halftone SFX Pack.

This game is great! The only thing I dislike are controls. Everything is ok until arrows come into play. Using arrows, A/D and space makes my wrists hurt after some time.
I have 14/15 scientists… can't find the last one!!
I have no idea how to defeat that third bss with the floating circular mini bots.
he rakes forever to even deplete all of them, which takes a big chunk of health usually.
then you gotta hit him, when rebounding from him, you ill for sure take 1 or 2 hits from the lasers.
at max manage to get 1 hit in.
no idea how to beat him :-/
oh yeah, it didnt save. great :-(
It didn't save.
What a fun little game! I love the art style, the theme, and how addicting it is. I could easily waste several hours hopping around as Otto the little robot ball. Great work! :)
