Mondrian Mambo

This game was inspired by the paintings of Piet Mondrian, an abstract painter of the 20th century. It was intended to be an exploration and combination of a few of his works, specifically the two paintings shown below. By blending the strong colors and minimalist feeling of the first with the suggested moving pieces of the second, I wanted to create a relaxing, yet fun experience.

This game was made for the 2021 Paintings Jam. This was a solo effort and made entirely within Game Maker Studio 2. The royalty-free music I acquired from Epidemic Sound and is called "Epic Thoughts" by Eneide.
